[Finally clued in to her malfunctioning amulet, Usagi realizes.]
OH MY GOSH, NO, THAT ISN'T WHAT I MEANT! IT'S NOT YOUR RESTAURANT, I SWEAR! PLEASE BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY FROM THE HEARTH IS- THAT IS, I GO THERE ALL THE TIME BECAUSE I LIKE IT!
I mean, the food is... fine, it's okay. They underseason pretty much everything so you gotta sit there with salt and pepper shakers or ask for more butter or hot sauce or ketchup to make anything taste like you're actually eating something.
The only thing they do really well is an alfredo pasta dish with mushrooms and cooked salmon. The soft lemon on the salmon doesn't get overpowered by the alfredo since they use so little of it to begin with.
[Not everything has to be a finely orchestrated plan with 20 points of action, Ignis. Sometimes it just takes one cute person, maybe two.]
Hope so! I mean, I know for ME there's this one really fancy restaurant that has me coming back every other month cause there's this gorgeous waitress there... the food is also AMAZING so ya know, two things in its favor even if the price is like an arm and a leg.
Oh sure! Back home we have things like Maid Cafes and Butler Cafes! I mean, the food is good too, but the whole point is to be waited on by really cute guys and girls! One of my favorite mangas back home was about a high school girl who secretly worked in a maid cafe to pay for her tuition and her school rival finds out she works there and so she has to serve him all the time so he'll keep her secret and not get kicked out for working a job while at school.

[Not his first encounter with the crystals misbehaving, but entertaining all the same.]
I apologize if the Hearth is feeling a bit 'old hat' at this point.
[She can probably hear him smirking.]

Now, there's no need to panic. I took no offense, Miss Tsukino.
[Still:]
I imagine you meant that message for someone else?

[Understandable, he supposes. It's not like he's entirely out of touch with the way teenage girls think— he's close with Iris, after all.]

I suppose they had to get lucky somewhere.
[He doubts it has anything to do with skill.]
Perhaps you can convince your friend to alternate with you on deciding where to go?

[They have some serving staff that's easy on the eyes, as well, not that he would know much about that anymore.]

[Don't let him down now, Jaune.]

[Really, is that all it takes to convince her friend to go somewhere...?]
Best of luck with any future outings, as well. Perhaps the Hearth will win her over?

Truly? I suppose that would be more surprising if the food were abysmal, but I had no idea potential patrons took such things into consideration.
[He's oblivious when it comes to all things romance or flirtation. How he wound up happily married, we may never know.]
